It uses the Streamable HTTP transport and is compliant with MCP protocol v2025-06-18.
Prerequisites
- WordPress 6.7 or higher
- PHP 8.0 or higher on your WordPress hosting environment
- Administrator access to the WordPress dashboard
- An MCP-compatible AI client such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, or Cursor
Install the plugin on your WordPress site
Install WP MCP Ultimate via the WordPress admin panel by uploading the zip file, or by cloning the repository directly into your plugins directory.
