Prerequisites
- Python 3.8 or higher installed
- uv package manager installed (recommended for running the server)
- A Storyblok account with a Space ID and Management API token
- A Storyblok Default Public Token for read operations
- An MCP-compatible client such as Claude Desktop
Clone the repository
Clone the storyblok-mcp-server repository and navigate into it.

In the Storyblok app, go to Settings > Space to find your Space ID. Generate a Management Token under Settings > Access Tokens (role: Management API). Also copy your Default Public Token for read operations.

Confirm the args path in claude_desktop_config.json points to the absolute path of server.py. Relative paths are not resolved correctly by Claude Desktop. Restart Claude Desktop after any config change.
