Version 1.6.x adds stable task moves, planned date support, attachment-aware reads, and native access to OmniFocus Pro's custom perspectives via the Perspective.Custom API. Productivity-focused Mac users connect it to Claude to plan their day, clean the Inbox, build projects from meeting notes, and reorganize tasks through natural conversation.
Prerequisites
- macOS 10.15 or higher (OmniFocus is macOS-only)
- OmniFocus 3 or higher installed and running (Pro license required for custom perspectives)
- Node.js 18 or higher
- npm or npx available on your PATH
- An MCP-compatible client such as Claude Desktop or Claude Code
Install the package via npm
Install omnifocus-mcp-enhanced globally so it is available on your PATH. Alternatively, use npx to run it on demand without a global install.
