Install Nuclear desktop application
Download and install Nuclear from the official GitHub releases page for your operating system. Nuclear is available as an AppImage (Linux), DMG (macOS), or installer (Windows).

Nuclear relies on community-sourced streaming backends. Open Nuclear directly and verify that search works from the UI. If no backends are active, check the Nuclear plugins/sources settings.
Commands are accepted but playback does not change
Ensure only one instance of Nuclear is running. On macOS, check that Nuclear has audio permissions in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone (for output device access).
