Prerequisites

Install conductor-tasks globally

parse-prd fails with an LLM authentication error
Confirm that at least one valid provider API key is set in the env block of your MCP config or exported in your shell. The key variable name must match the provider exactly, e.g. ANTHROPIC_API_KEY for Anthropic.
Tasks are not persisted between sessions
Run npx conductor-tasks init in your project directory first. The server stores tasks in a local data directory relative to where it was initialized; make sure you run it from the same project root each time.
visualize command shows an empty board
You need to create tasks first via parse-prd or by adding them manually. Run npx conductor-tasks list to confirm tasks exist before visualizing.
